The Idaho Police Officer Memorial board had their scheduled meeting at POST tonight. There were about 30 people in attendance in favor of the K9 memorial. The board members talked about wishing to move forward and keeping the K9 memorial at POST with the officer memorial. I can not think of a better place and personally would not want it any other place.
The IPOM board has asked to have another meeting to discuss their concerns with the current design and to draft an MOU addressing future care and upkeep. They asked to have this meeting after the memorial ceremony in May.
I will keep you all in the loop as you the plan proceeds. We can talk about our plans moving forward to help the k9 memorial board, during our association meeting.
